"My times are in Your hand." (Psalm 31:15)

The hand of God is in all that happens. Every event is under God's control – nothing is left to chance. He appointed all that concerns us in wisdom and love.

We've no idea what will happen today, but we know that God's plans and His promises cannot fail! Our comfort is that God takes pleasure in His people. He sees everything, and everything is directed by the Holy Spirit for our good.

We should not be anxious or troubled, the Lord rules, and He shall protect you from evil. He shall keep your soul.

"We joy in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 5:11)

This is every believer's privilege; God is reconciled to us through faith in Jesus Christ; all our sins are freely and fully forgiven; we stand before God, in Christ, accepted, loved and blessed. To us God is love, God is peace and we are His children.

Situations change, friends die, possessions are vanity, but if we joy in God we joy in One who is eternally the same and we joy for evermore!

No matter what troubles you may have today, God is "the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort." (2 Corinthians 1:3)

Joy and rejoice in Him- your Friend, your Saviour and your everlasting all!

"And shall you be delivered?" (2 Kings 19:11)

This was the insult of the proud enemy of good King Hezekiah.

Often when we're upset by our own failures, Satan may point to others who have fallen into sin, and insultingly ask the same question, "And shall you be delivered?"

Yes, Satan, we shall be delivered! The God of Hezekiah is our God, and He has said, "I will deliver you." We believe His word, and pray to Him. He has delivered us in the past. We trust Him for the present, for He has promised, "I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honour him. I will set him on high because he has known My name." (Psalm 91:14-15)

God is faithful. His word cannot fail. Deliverance is certain for God has spoken, and God is true.

"You, O Lord, are everything I've longed for;
I have promised to obey Your Word.
With my whole heart I have sought Your favour:
As You promised, grant me grace, O Lord."

"Search the Scriptures." (John 5:39)

The Bible is a gift from God; it is intended to lead us to a knowledge of the nature, perfections, will and salvation of God. It contains all that is really necessary to be known. It should be read carefully, prayerfully and frequently; every part of the Bible should be read, meditated upon and prayed over. It makes us wise unto salvation, through faith that is in Christ Jesus.

We need the Holy Spirit's help to understand the Bible; and we need the Bible to know the mind of God. Praying, reading and thinking should go together.

Let the Bible be the every-day book. In it God speaks to your soul; by it He will make you holy, direct your steps, and give you joy and peace.

"Search the Scriptures daily." (John 5:39)

"Open my eyes so that I may see wonderful things in Your law." (Psalm 119:18)

"God's law is perfect, and converts
The soul in sin that lies:
God's testimony is most sure,
And makes the simple wise." (Psalm 19:7)

"We have an advocate." (1 John 2:1)

Yes! Jesus is seated at the right hand of God, the Father, praying against Satan for us; and seeking the Father's blessing that we may be kept, blessed and glorified. What a comfort when facing difficulties to know that Jesus pleads for us.

This morning pray and leave all your concerns with Him. Rejoice in the Lord Jesus as your advocate.

He prays, "Father, I will that those whom You have given Me be with me where I am, to behold My glory." (John 17:24)

Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,

The Lord will always provide for His own people, who do His will and aim at His glory!

If we are in the Lord's way, we can be sure that we shall meet the Lord's messengers bringing our supplies. Those who seek the Lord shall lack no good thing. He notices our needs, remembers His promises and proves Himself a faithful God.

Have you lacked any thing?-for body?-for soul? He who has supplied the past, will provide for the future.

Jesus is full of grace; go and receive that your joy may be full. Look to Jesus, and you shall never be disappointed. Believe His word, He cannot deny Himself.

"I will instruct you." (Psalm 32:8)

At best we only know a little, and we are slow to learn; but the Lord has promised to teach us.

As believers, we have already been made "wise unto salvation." (2 Timothy 3:15) The Lord's teaching always produces humility, trust in God, zeal for His glory and delight in His praise. It brings us to Jesus, and delivers us from the evils of this world. We learn what sin is, the vanity of the world, and the fullness and preciousness of our Lord Jesus.

Is God willing to teach us? Then daily take time for prayer and Bible reading. Pray "Open my eyes so that I may see wonderful things in Your Word. In the name of Jesus, Amen" The Lord will bless us and make us holy through His truth. To know Jesus is life, peace and joy.

Is Jesus your teacher? He says "Learn of Me."

"Lord, teach me to know You, to love You and to keep Your commandments."

"I will instruct you by My word
And guide you in My way.
My counsel I will give to you;
My eye will keep your path in view
And watch you day by day." (Psalm 32:8)

"เราจะสอนและชี้แนะทางที่เจ้าควรเดินไป" (สดุดี 32:8 TNCV)

อย่างดีที่สุด เรารู้ได้เพียงเล็กน้อย และเราเรียนรู้ช้า แต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าได้สัญญาว่าจะสอนเรา

"You are My friends." (John 15:14)

How amazing that the Lord Jesus calls us His friends- and treats us as such! He expects us, as friends, to do as He commands.

Is Jesus your friend? Then learn more about Him in His Word each day, obey Him and let Him hear your praise and prayer; walk with Him in love and trust. He will be your friend in sickness and health, in poverty and plenty, in life and death.

If Jesus is your friend, you can never be forsaken; if father and mother forsake you, He will take care of you; we can never be neglected for He will do all He has promised in the Bible- in this life and throughout Eternity.

"You do not belong to yourself." (1 Corinthians 6:19)

Yes! If you are a believer, Jesus has bought you with His own blood, blessed you with the Holy Spirit, and intends you to share in the glories of heaven forever.

He claims you, and says "I have called you by your name, you are Mine." (Isaiah 43:1) He will provide for you as His own, and favour you as a man favours his own child. You are as His much loved bride; and are a member of "His body" - the church. You need to remember at all times that you are His, He freely gave you all that you have, and all that you have is His.

Think more of Jesus than of His gifts; stay close to Him and not to what you may be called upon to surrender. If He takes from you, it is to teach you; to lead you to lean more upon Himself; and to find blessing in His company and grace.

Do you show by your daily life that you belong to Jesus?

The disciples appeared to be in danger, and they were terrified. They did not realize that Jesus was watching over them.

Dear Believer in Jesus, You are in the hands of your loving Saviour; He knows all your worries; He has numbered the very hairs of your head, and watches over you every moment. He is ever present to defend you, to provide for you, to guide you, and He will be glorified in your everlasting holiness and happiness.

Why are you afraid? Jesus is the Friend that loves at all times; your shield of protection, and will be your exceeding great reward.

Perhaps you have wandered from Him; your conscience accuses you, and Satan tempts you to despair. Go, go and return to Him, don't delay for a moment, confess all. He will receive you graciously, love you freely, and restore the joys of His Salvation.

"I am your shield." (Genesis 15:1)

The promises God made to Abraham are also for us. Because of our relationship with God, through faith in Jesus Christ, we experience God's protection. He is our shield. How secure and happy we feel, knowing His protection against Satan, sin and the world.

Friends, look to Jesus throughout this day as your shield, and expect His safekeeping. He will answer your prayers for protection. He will preserve your going out, and your coming in from this time and forevermore. He will give you the shield of faith, and His gentleness will make you great.

"You cannot serve both God and money." (Matthew 6:24)

Our God will not tolerate our love for any other god. He requires our wholehearted devotion. Those who try to unite the world and God, the service of sin and the service of God cannot be happy. We must be decided. Who is to be God to-day? Is it to be the world, or is Jesus to have our thoughts, desires and talents? Don't try to reconcile opposing claims.

Surely we are ready to cry out "I am Yours, Lord Jesus; and I will serve You alone." But you can only serve Him with the grace that He has promised and invites you to receive.

Serving God as those in His family is true happiness. Let us be thankful and please God.

"The wisdom of the just." (Luke 1:17)

Through faith in Jesus, believers are justified (made just as if they had never sinned) freely by God's grace. The Holy Spirit teaches them the wisdom of readily believing God's faithful Word, and trusting Him to fulfil His promises.

They leave themselves and all they value in His hands for safe keeping and service. They are fully persuaded that His wisdom and love do better for them than they could do for themselves. They commit everything to God for His guidance, and rejoice in His leading. They live in simple child like dependence upon God's providence and grace for body and soul, for time and eternity, seeking to make His will their very own. They seek to walk in love with fellow- Christians (who differ in some things from themselves) and wish to do good to all- especially believers.

Do you walk by this wisdom? Have you this wisdom from above, which is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits?

It is a light that guides me on my way.
The oath that I have taken I've confirmed
That all Your righteous laws I will obey." (Sing psalms 119:105-106)

"My brother." (Matthew 12:50)

Who is the "brother" of Jesus? Everyone who does the will of His Father; every believer who proves the reality of his faith by his or her good works and Christ-like character.

Let us rejoice that the Lord Jesus loves us. He puts up with our failings, encourages our faith and promises to provide all our needs.

Jesus has all power in heaven and earth. He is not ashamed to call us brothers and sisters. When you pray to Him, remember that your brother sits enthroned. He will withhold no good thing from you!

Precious Lord Jesus, teach me to rely on You daily.

"Evil is present with me." (Romans 7:21)

What a mercy that evil doesn't reign over you. It did once; but thanks to God's free grace sin no longer reigns over the believer.

If sin leads you to prayer, then it does not reign in you. It may disturb your peace, cause you sadness, hinder your good works, and cause you to cry out, "O wretched man that I am, who shall deliver Me?" (Romans 7:24) But even then- Jesus still loves you, and you shall be more than conqueror.

Paul had known the Lord many years, and daily triumphed in Christ; yet he felt just as you feel, when he wanted to do good, evil was present with him.

If sin causes you sadness, holiness lives in you. You may even now sing, "Thanks be to God who gives us the victory, through our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 7:25)

"In the name of Jesus, In the name of Jesus,
We have the victory!
In the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus,
Satan will have to flee.
Who can tell what God can do!
Who can tell of His love for you!
In the mighty name of Jesus

"ความชั่วก็อยู่กับข้าพเจ้า" (โรม 7:21 TNCV)

ช่างเป็นพระเมตตาที่ความชั่วไม่มีอำนาจเหนือคุณอีกต่อไป ครั้งหนึ่งมันเคยมีอำนาจเหนือคุณ แต่ขอบพระคุณพระเจ้าสำหรับพระคุณที่เราได้รับเปล่าๆ ที่ทำให้บาปไม่มีอำนาจเหนือชีวิตของผู้เชื่ออีกต่อไป

"I want to do good." (Romans 7:21)

Every believer has been renewed by the Holy Spirit. Sin has not had dominion over us.

We long to be holy. We have prayed earnestly, praised with thanksgiving, and believed with confidence. We have struggled against sin and Satan with courage, and glorified God. This we do in our best moments, but we find that we need the renewing of the Holy Spirit, for we are apt to sink into a lukewarm state. We cry out, "Lord, save me."

Dear friends, we need to come to Jesus daily for fresh supplies of the Holy Spirit's help. Watch and pray. Watch against temptation. Watch over your own heart.

"Is it well with you?" (2 Kings 4:26)

Is Jesus precious to you? Are you sad about your sins? Are you strong in faith, giving glory to God? Are you enjoying communion with your Heavenly Father? Is the world, and its charms, behind you? Do you love all the Lord's people? Are you seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness? When in trouble do you go straight to Jesus, praying "Lord, help me?"

If so, there is spiritual life in you, and the Holy Spirit is your teacher. But if you prefer the world to Jesus, the pleasures of time to fellowship with God, if the Bible has become dry, then it is not well with you.

Health of soul is shown by habitual prayer, zeal for the Lord's glory and an appetite for His Word.

Is your soul sick? If so, go to Jesus, as the Great Physician and pray to Him that He restore to you the joys of your salvation and uphold you with His Holy Spirit. He will heal your backsliding, and love you freely.

And save my soul in every storm;
He will His gracious Word fulfil,
And guard my soul from every ill."

Jesus is the same- yesterday, today and forever! He is our best Friend and loving Saviour. We can trust Him completely.

If we walk humbly with Him, He will be our God forever. Let us aim to please Him in all things. Then we will glorify Him whether in health or sickness, plenty or poverty, life or death. He will never leave us, nor forsake us. He is the fountain of love and holiness for ever! Praise the Lord!

We are in the enemy's land surrounded by temptations; and have deceitful hearts. Jesus died to save us, and lives again. Our aim is to honour Him in all we say and do.

God in His love has given us precious promises in the Bible to help us, and the Holy Spirit to teach, guide and comfort us.

This world is not our home; Satan's family are not to be our close companions; riches, honours or pleasures are not our main aims. We must watch and pray depending on Jesus and enjoying fellowship with Him. Keep your eyes on Jesus as your example and avoid every appearance of evil.

Or sit with those who mock.
Instead he finds God's holy law

"Ask in faith." (James 1:6)

Our prayers should be according to what God has promised.

Sometimes we pray for things which would be harmful to us, and these prayers will not be granted. God has promised all good, and only good for believers.

What do you need today? Where in the Bible has God promised such things? Search out the promise, pray in the name of Jesus for its fulfilment, and never doubt God's promises. Faith honours God by trusting Him, and God always honours faith by answering.

"Let us come boldly to the throne of grace ,that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16)

Why? Is it because many do not listen to God's Word? Or because of your lack of progress in the Christian Way? Or because these days you are less aware of the comfort and peace of Jesus? Or because of the deceitfulness of your own heart?

Don't spend too much time on your faults and failings. Remember the precious blood of Jesus poured out for your salvation. Read and believe the promises in the Bible, confess all to the Lord. He cannot be unkind. He never will forsake you. He has sent the Holy Spirit to comfort and encourage you.

But our Lord is beside us and won't let us fall;
He'll carry us through, and give us more grace,
As we look in His Word, and gaze on His face."

"Come to Me." (Matthew 11:28)

Jesus calls you to His throne. He is there waiting to hear you. He will give you wisdom to direct your steps; peace to keep your hearts; strength to do His will; righteousness to bless you; and precious rest.

He calls you this morning to receive freely. Jesus is our precious Saviour and our true Friend. He says, "Come to Me, and I will do for you more than you can ask or think. I will forgive your sins. I will comfort you. I will bless you, and you shall be a blessing."

Pray to God and believe that He will help you as you pray in the precious name of Jesus.

"I am a worm." (Psalm 22:6)

We are by nature proud, but God's grace humbles us.

In this psalm, David, whom God chose to be king over Israel, cries out "I am a worm." (Psalm 22:6) How little he appeared in his own eyes!

"Everyone who humbles himself will be exalted." (Luke 14:11)

Are we not poor, weak and worthless worms? Do you feel so? Well, so did David. The less you are in your own eyes the more fit you are for the Lord Jesus.

This was also the testimony of the Lord when in prophecy, His sufferings and humiliation are described in Psalm 22. It was the view of the mob who surrounded Him and treated Him with the greatest contempt. But it was for our salvation.

O mystery of mercy! Jesus was reduced to a level with the worm, that we may be raised higher than the angels!

"From Bethlehem's inn to Calvary's cross-
Affliction marked His road;
And many a weary step He took,
To bring us back to God.
By men despised, rejected, scorn'd,
No beauty they can see;
With grace and glory all adorn'd
The loveliest form to me."

"ข้าพระองค์เป็นตัวหนอน" (สดุดี 22:6 TNCV)

โดยธรรมชาติแล้ว เราเป็นคนหยิ่งผยอง แต่พระคุณของพระเจ้าทำให้เราถ่อมใจ

ในสดุดี ดาวิดผู้ซึ่งพระเจ้าเลือกให้เป็นกษัตริย์ของอิสราเอลร้องว่า "ข้าพระองค์เป็นตัวหนอน" (สดุดี 22:6 TNCV) เขาช่างประเมินค่าตัวเองต่ำต่อยเสียจริง!

"ผู้ที่ถ่อมตนลงจะได้รับการเชิดชูขึ้น" (ลูกา 14:11 TNCV)

เราไม่ได้ขัดสน อ่อนแอ และเป็นตัวหนอนที่ไร้ค่าหรอกหรือ? คุณรู้สึกเช่นนั้นหรือไม่? ถ้าเป็นเช่นนั้น ดาวิดก็รู้สึกเช่นกัน คุณยิ่งมองตัวคุณเองเล็กน้อยเท่าไร คุณก็ยิ่งเหมาะสมสำหรับพระเยซูเจ้ามากขึ้นเท่านั้น

"Gethsemane" (Matthew 26:36)

This was a garden at the foot of the Mount of Olives. Here Jesus, as the substitute for His people, received the cup of wrath from the hand of His Father. The Son of God was punished by divine justice for our salvation. Alone He suffered for us. How great was His love for us!

See the Lord in His sufferings; listen to His heart-breaking sighs. He endured it all to secure our happiness, and make our peace with God. He went to Gethsemane, and Calvary, so that we who believe would not go to hell. He, who was sinless, took our punishment so that we would be glorified in heaven!

"I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13)

No matter where God leads us, what difficulties we may experience, or how weak we may feel, God will help us if we ask Him. He is a very present help in trouble.

God cannot lie and His promise is trustworthy. His strength is made perfect in your weakness.

Do not be afraid underneath you are His everlasting arms. Your part is to pray for help and trust in God's promises.

ไม่ว่าพระเจ้าจะนำเราไปที่ใด เราจะต้องเจอกับความยากลำบากเช่นไร หรือเรารู้สึกอ่อนแอเพียงไรก็ตาม พระเจ้าจะช่วยเราหากเราขอพระองค์ พระองค์พร้อมที่จะช่วยเสมอเมื่อเราเจอปัญหา

พระเจ้าไม่สามารถโกหก และพระสัญญาของพระองค์ก็น่าเชื่อถือ ฤทธิ์อำนาจของพระองค์ปรากฏเต็มที่ในความอ่อนแอ

"Let him deny himself." (Matthew 16:24)

Jesus calls us to leave our sins and trust Him to save us; to believe His Word completely, and do as His Word directs. Jesus must be Lord in everything concerning us- our appetites, our pleasures, our friendships.

Are we willing to part with all that hinders our spiritual walk? We are not our own, nor is anything we have our own; it is the Lord's. We aim to bring glory to God at all times, in all things, under all circumstances. Then we are safe and happy!

The servant must obey his master, and the child must submit in all things to his wise and loving Father.

But for whom am I called to deny myself? For Jesus, who lived and died to save me, and is now in heaven praying for me. He is the greatest example of self -denial!

พระเยซูเรียกให้เราทิ้งความบาปของเราและวางใจให้พระองค์นำเราสู่ความหลุดพ้น เรียกให้เราเชื่อในพระคำของพระองค์อย่างสมบูรณ์ และเรียกให้เราทำตามพระคำของพระองค์ พระเยซูต้องเป็นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าเหนือทุกสิ่งที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเรา ไม่ว่าจะเป็นความอยากของเรา หรือความพึงพอใจของเรา มิตรภาพของเรา

เราเต็มใจที่จะทิ้งทุกสิ่งที่ขัดขวางการดำเนินชีวิตฝ่ายวิญญาณหรือไม่? ตัวเราไม่ใช่ของเราเอง หรือแม้แต่ทุกสิ่งที่เราเป็นเจ้าของก็ตาม ทุกสิ่งเป็นขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า เรามีเป้าหมายที่จะถวายเกียรติสิริแด่พระเจ้าทุกเวลา ในทุกสิ่ง และภายใต้ทุกสถานการณ์ แล้วเราก็จะปลอดภัยและมีความสุข!

แต่เราถูกเรียกให้ปฏิเสธตนเองเพื่อใครเล่า? เพื่อพระเยซู ผู้ดำรงชีวิตและตายเพื่อนำเราสู่ความหลุดพ้น และบัดนี้พระองค์อยู่ในสวรรค์และกำลังอธิษฐานเพื่อเรา พระองค์เป็นตัวอย่างที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดของผู้ที่ปฏิเสธตนเอง!

"Don't worry about anything, and pray about everything." (Philippians 4:6)

The Lord cares for us. He knows our needs, and has promised to supply them; our enemies, and will deliver us from them; our fears, and we will be ashamed of them. All things are in His control.

He directs the angels, feeds the sparrows, curbs the devil, and controls the storm.

Will He neglect you? Impossible! Then praise Him for all He has given and for all He has promised. Pray to Him, in the precious name of Jesus, and tell Him all you need. He is an ever present help. He will rejoice over you to do you good.

"All your anxiety, all your care,
Take to the Mercy Seat*, leave it there.
Never a burden he cannot bear,
Never a Friend like Jesus."
(*that means pray about it, which we can do any place- but in the Old Testament times the 'mercy seat' represented God's presence)

องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าห่วงใยเรา พระองค์ทราบสิ่งจำเป็นสำหรับเรา และได้สัญญาไว้ว่าจะจัดเตรียมสิ่งเหล่านั้นให้ พระองค์ทราบศัตรูของเรา และจะช่วยเราให้รอดพ้นจากศัตรู พระองค์ทราบความกลัวของเรา และเราจะละอายเพราะความกลัวเหล่านั้น ทุกสิ่งล้วนอยู่ภายใต้การควบคุมดูแลของพระองค์
