"If you love Me, keep My commandments." (John 14:15)

Jesus commands us because He loves us. He desires the best for us. Our obedience proves the sincerity of our faith.

Jesus commands us to imitate Himself. He commands us to believe Him, profess Him, obey Him, and to continue in His love.

Love is the strongest incentive to obedience, it conquers fear, gives zeal and overcomes difficulties.

Jesus summarised the 10 commandments (Exodus Ch.20) in Matthew 22:37-39:

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind." ----and "You shall love your neighbour as yourself."

"They are the enemies of the cross of Christ" (Phillipians 3:18)

The Christian glories in the cross of Christ. The cross is central to our salvation; this is the foundation of our faith and the place where the Lord displays all the perfection of His character. It is the key to heaven.

Let us so live that we never bring dishonour on the Lord who died on the cross that we might live for evermore.

"As for me, may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world's interest in me has also died." (Galatians 6:14)

"Be still my soul; the Lord is on your side;

"Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives." (Colossians 3:16)

Believer, the Bible is the Word of your best Friend, loving Saviour, and final Judge. Let it rule and feed your soul.

As a result, you will know how to pray; you will make wise judgements; your desires will be pleasing to God; your conscience will be pure; you will be able to resist and overcome Satan; and you will be able to encourage others.

Day by day, take your direction from God's Word. "Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom." (Colossians 3:16)

"Your Word's a lamp that shines before my feet;
It is a light that guides me on my way.
The oath that I have taken I've confirmed
That all Your righteous laws I will obey." (Psalm 119:105-106)

"The righteous will hold to his way." (Job 17:9)

The way to heaven is difficult, and we may be weak. If we are justified by God's grace, and sanctified by the Spirit of truth, and keep steadily on the Way, there is no doubt but that we'll arrive in heaven; for "the righteous will hold to his way, and he who has clean hands will be stronger and stronger." (Job 17:9)

The true believer holds on, for he is secure in God's promise; he is supplied from the fullness of our Lord Jesus and taught by the Holy Spirit.

Let us live near to Jesus and walk with Him. God will give "grace and glory." (Psalm 84:11)

"The righteous will hold to his way." (Job 17:9) They go from strength to strength, everyone of them appears before God in Zion.

"แต่คนชอบธรรมจะยึดมั่นอยู่ในวิถีของตน" (โยบ 17:9 TNCV)

หนทางสู่สวรรค์นั้นยาก และเราอาจอ่อนแอ หากพระคุณของพระเจ้าได้ตัดสินว่าเราชอบธรรมแล้ว และหากพระวิญญาณแห่งความจริงได้ชำระเราให้บริสุทธิ์แล้ว และเราได้รักษาชีวิตของเราให้ดำเนินอยู่ใน "ทางนั้น" ก็ไม่มีข้อสงสัย เพราะเราจะไปถึงสวรรค์แน่นอน เพราะว่า "คนชอบธรรมจะยึดมั่นอยู่ในวิถีของตน ผู้ที่มือสะอาดจะเข้มแข็งขึ้นเรื่อยๆ" (โยบ 17:9)

"Be even more diligent to make your call and election sure." (2 Peter 1:10)

God's call separates us from sin, Satan and the world; to Christ, the church and holiness.

Our election is God's choice of us from others- by grace, and for His glory. We are by election led to choose Christ, holiness and heaven; to choose them freely, wholeheartedly and habitually. We know that we are called by God by our praying to Him for forgiveness, holiness and fellowship with Himself.

Let us diligently rejoice in our election for it is worth all the effort and the time spent. Let us give ourselves entirely to God and pray daily to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

การทรงเรียกของพระเจ้าแยกเราออกจากบาป ซาตาน และโลก นำเราสู่พระคริสต์ คริสตจักร และความบริสุทธิ์

"Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith." (Hebrews 12:2)

All true Christians have faith, but some have only a little faith.

He who gave us what we have can increase it; and He will if we pray for it earnestly.

We need more faith, to enable us to escape the many dangers that are in our path; to do and suffer the Lord's will with patience; to hold fast to the faithful Word; to grow in grace and holiness; to forgive those who harm us; and to honour God by believing His promises and serving Him.

We are encouraged to ask for more faith by God's promises; by the examples of great faith set forth in the Bible; and by the character of God who is "more ready to give than we are to receive."

Praise God, He is also the "finisher of our faith."

"I do not know how many days
Of life are mine to spend;
But One who knows and cares for me
Will keep me to the end."

"พระเยซูผู้ทรงลิขิตความเชื่อและทรงทำให้ความเชื่อของเราสมบูรณ์" (ฮีบรู 12:2 TNCV)

คริสเตียนแท้ทุกคนมีความเชื่อ แต่บางคนมีความเชื่อเพียงน้อยนิด

"God said, 'What do you want? Ask, and I shall give it to you!' " (1 Kings 3:5)

God has boundless resources, and is constantly calling upon us ask and receive.

What do you want today? Is it more holiness? We want our understanding enlightened, our will brought into conformity to the will of God, and our affections fixed on heavenly things.

Let us ask as Solomon did for wisdom to guide our hearts and direct our ways. It will lead us to do God's will and enable us to escape the traps of the devil.

Jesus asks us "What shall I give you?" In Him are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and everyone that asks receives.

"O Jesus, give me Yourself."

Spirit of God, my teacher be,

พระเจ้ามีแหล่งทรัพยากรที่ไร้ขีดจำกัด และเรียกเราอย่างต่อเนื่องให้ขอและรับ

คุณต้องการอะไรในวันนี้? อยากที่จะบริสุทธิ์มากขึ้นหรือ? เราต้องการความเข้าใจอย่างกระจ่างแจ้ง ต้องการให้ความปรารถนาของเราสอดคล้องกับพระประสงค์ของพระเจ้า และให้ความรักของเราอยู่ที่สิ่งที่เป็นของสวรรค์
