"My strength is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9)
The more a Christian feels his weakness, the more he should expect his Saviour to help and strengthen him. The strength of Jesus is given, enjoyed and displayed in our greatest troubles.
Never was Abraham so strong, as when offering up his much loved Isaac; never were the martyrs so strong as when in prison they cried out to Jesus for strength; and depending on His faithfulness and love, they left all and faced death triumphantly.
Let us live by faith.
When we feel weakest the strength of Jesus is nearest.
He shows His great mercy by giving power to the faint, and increasing the strength of the weak.
Let us depend on Him, for 'we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.' (Philippians 4:13) He is our strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)

"พระคุณของเราเพียงพอสำหรับเจ้า เพื่อว่าฤทธิ์อำนาจของเราจะได้ปรากฏเต็มที่ในความอ่อนแอ" (2 โครินธ์ 12:9 TNCV)
ยิ่งคริสเตียนรู้สึกว่าเขาอ่อนแอมากเพียงไร เขาก็จะยิ่งคาดหวังให้พระผู้ช่วยมาช่วยและมอบกำลังให้แก่เขามากขึ้นเท่านั้น ในความทุกข์ร้อนอันเลวร้ายที่สุดในชีวิตของเรานี่เอง ที่เป็นเวลาที่เราได้รับ ได้เห็น และได้ชื่นชมยินดีในฤทธิ์อำนาจของพระเยซู
ไม่มีช่วงเวลาใดเลยในชีวิตของอับราฮัมที่จะเข้มแข็งได้มากเท่ากับเมื่อเขามอบถวาย อิสอัค บุตรที่เขารัก
ไม่มีช่วงเวลาใดเลยที่ผู้ที่สละชีวิตเพื่อความเชื่อทั้งหลายจะเข้มแข็งได้มากเท่ากับเมื่อพวกเขาอยู่ในคุก และร้องทูลขอกำลังจากพระเยซู และโดยหวังพึ่งในความสัตย์ซื่อและความรักของพระองค์ พวกเขาก็สละทุกสิ่ง และเผชิญความตายอย่างมีชัยชนะ
ขอที่เราจะดำเนินชีวิตโดยความเชื่อ
เมื่อเรารู้สึกอ่อนแอที่สุด ฤทธิ์อำนาจของพระองค์ก็อยู่ใกล้ที่สุด
พระองค์ทรงสำแดงพระเมตตาอันยิ่งใหญ่ของพระองค์ ด้วยการประทานฤทธิ์อำนาจให้แก่ผู้ที่อ่อนกำลัง และเสริมกำลังแก่ผู้ที่อ่อนแอ
ขอที่เราจะพึ่งพาพระองค์ ด้วยว่า "เราทำทุกสิ่งได้โดยพระองค์ผู้ประทานกำลังแก่ข้าพเจ้า" (ฟิลิปปี 4:13 TNCV)
พระเจ้าทรงเป็นกำลังของเรา เป็นความช่วยเหลือที่พร้อมเสมอในยามทุกข์ร้อน (สดุดี 46:1)
