"I rejoice in Your salvation." (1 Samuel 2:1)
God’s salvation is deliverance from the most awful situation – hell - to the glories of heaven, and all by His free grace. He saves the poor and needy, the guilty and distressed, who call upon Him and believe in Him. We, who have experienced His mercy, should along with Hannah, rejoice in our salvation.
Some rejoice in property, power, and earthly prospects; let us rejoice in our salvation- in sickness and health, in poverty and plenty, in life and in death.
"Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty; yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!" (Habakkuk 3:17-18)

"ข้าพเจ้ายินดีในความรอดของพระองค์" (1 ซามูเอล 2:1 THSV2011)
ความรอดของพระเจ้า คือการช่วยกู้จากสถานการณ์ที่เลวร้ายที่สุด นั่นคือนรก ไปสู่สง่าราศีแห่งสวรรค์ และทั้งสิ้นนี้ก็เกิดขึ้นโดยพระคุณที่ไม่คิดมูลค่าของพระองค์ พระองค์ช่วยทั้งคนจนและขัดสน คนที่มีความผิดและคนที่ทุกข์ใจ ผู้ซึ่งร้องเรียกหาพระองค์และเชื่อในพระองค์ เราทั้งหลาย ผู้ซึ่งได้มีประสบการณ์กับพระเมตตาของพระองค์ ควรที่จะชื่นชมยินดีในความรอดที่เราได้รับ ร่วมกับนางฮันนาห์
บางคนอาจจะชื่นชมยินดีในทรัพย์สิน อำนาจ และสิ่งที่มองเห็นในโลกนี้ แต่ขอที่เราจะชื่นชมยินดีในความรอดของเรา แม้ในยามเจ็บป่วยและในยามแข็งแรง ในยามยากจนหรือในยามมั่งมี ในชีวิตและในความตาย
"แม้ต้นมะเดื่อไม่ผลิดอกและเถาองุ่นไม่มีผลแม้ต้นมะกอกไม่ให้ผลและท้องทุ่งไม่ให้พืชพันธุ์ธัญญาหารแม้ไม่มีแกะในคอกและไม่มีวัวในโรงกระนั้นข้าพเจ้าจะชื่นชมยินดีในองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าข้าพเจ้าจะเบิกบานใจในพระเจ้าพระผู้ช่วยให้รอดของข้าพเจ้า" (ฮาบากุก 3:17-18 TNCV)
