Storing Up Treasure in Heaven (2)
And Jesus gave us 2 examples: the ravens (verse 24) and lilies (verse 27)
24 Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds!
25 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?
26 If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest?
27 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
28 But if God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith!
29 And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be worried.
30 For all the nations of the world seek after these things, and your Father knows that you need them.
31 Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things will be added to you. (Luke 12:24-31 ESV)
How wonderful life is. This world is full of creatures. It is not by chance. Some may say that all varieties of the creatures are by chance, but the bible does not say like that. All are designed. God created and invested it.
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul! O LORD my God, you are very great! You are clothed with splendor and majesty,
2 covering yourself with light as with a garment, stretching out the heavens like a tent.
3 He lays the beams of his chambers on the waters; he makes the clouds his chariot; he rides on the wings of the wind;
4 he makes his messengers winds, his ministers a flaming fire.
5 He set the earth on its foundations, so that it should never be moved.
6 You covered it with the deep as with a garment; the waters stood above the mountains. (Psalm 104:1-6 ESV)
God created the world and lives, and He continued to sustain it. God made the world and He sustained the world which He made.
About the ravens, they are not pretty. They are black and not clean. They eat rotten meats. They are an unclean animal. No one will have them as their pets.
God feeds even this ugly undesirable unclean animal. He cares for the ravens. And do you not think He cares for you, a man or a woman, a boy or a girl, made in His image, created to have dominion over the earth, somebody who can know Him, love Him and worship Him?
Does not God care for you whom He has made, and who He has redeemed at the cross by the life of His Son?
About flowers, they are beautiful. They are in the fields and parks, and so short-lived. They may live for 7 days or 10 days, and they are clothed with beauty. And will He not care for you, in whose heart He has set eternity, whom He invites to share eternal life in the eternal kingdom with Him?

25 มีใครในพวกท่านโดยความกระวนกระวายสามารถต่ออายุของตนให้ยืนนานอีกนิดหนึ่งได้?
26 เพราะฉะนั้นถ้าสิ่งเล็กน้อยยังทำไม่ได้ ท่านยังจะกระวนกระวายถึงสิ่งอื่นทำไมอีกเล่า?
27 จงพิจารณาดูดอกไม้ว่ามันเติบโตขึ้นอย่างไร มันไม่ทำงาน มันไม่ปั่นด้าย แต่เราบอกพวกท่านว่า แม้แต่กษัตริย์ซาโลมอนเมื่อบริบูรณ์ด้วยศักดิ์ศรี ก็ไม่ได้ทรงแต่งพระองค์งามเท่าดอกไม้เหล่านี้สักดอกหนึ่ง
28 และถ้าพระเจ้าทรงตกแต่งหญ้าที่ทุ่งนาอย่างนั้น ซึ่งเป็นอยู่วันนี้และรุ่งขึ้นต้องทิ้งในเตาไฟ โอ พวกที่มีความเชื่อน้อย พระองค์จะทรงตกแต่งท่านยิ่งกว่านั้นมากนัก
29 ท่านอย่าเสาะหาว่าจะกินอะไรดีหรือจะดื่มอะไร และอย่ามีใจกังวล
30 เพราะว่าพวกต่างชาติทั่วโลกเสาะหาสิ่งเหล่านี้ทั้งหมด แต่ว่าพระบิดาของท่านทั้งหลายทรงทราบแล้วว่าท่านต้องการสิ่งเหล่านี้
31 แต่จงแสวงหาแผ่นดินของพระเจ้า แล้วพระองค์จะทรงเพิ่มเติมสิ่งเหล่านี้ให้ (ลูกา 12:24-31 THSV2011)
ชีวิตช่างงดงามเหลือเกิน โลกก็เต็มไปด้วยสิ่งมีชีวิตมากมาย นี่ไม่ใช่สิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นโดยบังเอิญ บางคนอาจจะบอกว่าความหลายกหลายทั้งสิ้นเกิดขึ้นโดยบังเอิญ แต่พระคัมภีร์มิได้กล่าวเช่นนั้น ทุกสิ่งล้วนถูกออกแบบมา พระเจ้าทรงสร้างขึ้นมา
1 จิตใจของข้าเอ๋ย จงถวายสาธุการแด่พระยาห์เวห์ ข้าแต่พระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของข้าพระองค์ พระองค์ใหญ่ยิ่งนัก พระองค์ทรงพระสิริและความสง่างามเป็นฉลองพระองค์
2 ผู้ทรงคลุมพระองค์ด้วยแสงสว่างดุจอาภรณ์ ผู้ทรงขึงฟ้าสวรรค์ออกดังขึงม่าน
3 ผู้ทรงวางคานที่ประทับอันสูงของพระองค์ไว้ในน้ำ ผู้ทรงใช้เมฆเป็นราชรถ ผู้ประทับไปบนปีกของลม
4 ผู้ทรงใช้ลมเป็นทูตสื่อสาร ทรงใช้ไฟที่ลุกโชนเป็นผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์
5 พระองค์ทรงตั้งแผ่นดินโลกไว้บนรากฐานของมัน เพื่อมิให้มันสั่นคลอนเป็นนิตย์นิรันดร์
6 พระองค์ทรงคลุมมันไว้ด้วยน้ำลึกอย่างคลุมด้วยเครื่องนุ่งห่ม น้ำอยู่เหนือภูเขา (สดุดี 104:1-6 THSV2011)

เกี่ยวกับอีกา พวกมันไม่น่ารักเท่าไร สีดำและไม่สะอาด พวกมันกินซากสัตว์ พวกมันเป็นสัตว์มลทิน คงจะไม่มีใครเลี้ยงมันเป็นสัตว์เลี้ยง
พระเจ้าทรงเลี้ยงแม้แต่สัตว์ที่ไม่น่าพึงประสงค์และเป็นมลทิน พระองค์ทรงห่วงใยอีกา และคุณไม่คิดหรือว่าพระองค์ก็ทรงห่วงใยคุณ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นชายหรือหญิง เด็กชายหรือเด็กหญิง ที่พระองค์ได้ทรงสร้างขึ้นมาตามพระฉายของพระองค์ ให้ครอบครองดูแลทั้งทั้งโลก ผู้ซึ่งสามารถรู้จักพระองค์ รักพระองค์ และนมัสการพระองค์?
พระเจ้าจะมิทรงห่วงใยคุณ ผู้ซึ่งพระองค์ทรงสร้างขึ้นมา และผู้ซึ่งพระองค์ได้ทรงไถ่ที่ไม้กางเขนด้วยชีวิตของพระบุตรหรือ?
สำหรับดอกไม้ พวกมันสวยงาม อยู่ตามทุ่งนาและสวน และมีชีวิตอยู่ไม่นาน พวกมันอาจจะมีชีวิตอยู่ได้เพียง 7 วัน หรือ 10 วัน และพวกมันก็ได้รับการตกแต่งด้วยความสวยงาม แล้วพระองค์จะไม่ทรงห่วงใยคุณ ผู้ซึ่งมีจิตใจที่พระองค์ทรงใส่นิรันดร์กาล ผู้ซึ่งพระองค์ได้ทรงเชิญให้รับชีวิตนิรันดร์ในอาณาจักรนิรันดร์ร่วมกับพระองค์หรอกหรือ?
